Don’t Forget to have Hot Dates

Hey guys! Hope you’re having an amazing day today! Don’t forget to pray and put God first. đź’– This was on my mind this morning... I joined a Christian wives group on Facebook about a month ago. I noticed numerous postings from wives stating that date nights are basically non-existent. Busyness, tiredness, and other excuses blotted the group with a gloomy gray pen. My mind triggered...alert, alert, alert!  I was astounded by the statistical confessions of the “no-date” rate. Don’t fall into the mundane practical pit. No! Find that notch of time before the boring ballpoint scribbles over passion.  Yes, I know...You have children. That feeble perception wavers widely. I’m not going to sugarcoat the ugliness sitting in the corner...you let life become a tyrant that needs to be belittled.  I cannot express it enough...pencil in time to be one-on-one with your spouse. Channel his or her mind, and equate each other as lovers and a charmed couple again.  My godly, passion

God knows every Sparrow that Lives and Falls

Life can bellow beauty and whirlwinds of wonderment. Eyes are enchanted by sparkle-stars that dot-to-dot the sky like pearlescent polka-dots. Sights are bright with sunshine rays, speckling the month of merry May.  Life is a diamond encapsulated by rough rock.  I found a diamond amidst my mom’s backyard a few days ago. My mom told me that the baby sparrows died. They fell out of their nest, now being nestled by the cold ground. My heart became an overcast of somber spirit clouds. But then, my mom cited a verse that she has reiterated to me throughout the years... Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outsi

Women...Back off

Alright ladies...this blogpost is for you. You might get angry and frustrated, but that’s ok. I feel I need to express a point...back off from your husband.  Yesterday, my husband and I went to his childhood home to move a couple items to my mom’s house. We are having a house built and my mom said we could use her shed and backyard to store some tools, a grill, a ladder, etc. Yes, she’s a wonderful mom! We appreciate her loaning some “space”.  So, we loaded our Tundra with books, toy trucks, memorabilia, and more. We were finally ready to tie down the grill and ladder like they were wild mustangs that needed taming.  My husband hasn’t moved a lot of “wild horses” in his truck, so using straps was new to him. They are the kind where you feed the strap through and tighten. Then, some physics and engineering is involved to hold everything at bay.  So, I backed off and let my husband learn on his own. If he made a mistake, that’s ok, it’s the only way to learn. I gave him so
